The Perfect Pet

One time a girl named Alice asked if she could have a pet. "That depends" said her mom with a little shiver. "What pet do you want" she said with a curios look on her face. "Well it would be nice to have a friend in the house." she said. "what "friend" do you want?. Said mom." A puppy would be nice"
said Alice. Mom said that dogs are hairy. Well do you like birds? she said "yes!" said Alice." A bird it is" said mom. So they went to the pet store to buy a bird. "a parrot!" said Alicia. it had bright feathers and a big, long bushy tail that was colored blue." Can I have that one?" Alicia said with a smile. "Sure!" said Alice's mom. The pet store's owner overheard them and said"It's all trained and it can speak." She said with a smile on her face. Her mom said "That's pretty cheap for a bird" said mom "we'll get it!" she continued. Alice was so happy she had a friend that she could actually talk to. They went home, named her Tick-Tack and went to bed.
